I’m really proud to announce that I’ve been featured in the August 2012 issue of O, The Oprah Magazine!
One of the magazine’s senior editors contacted me a few months back and asked me to develop a handful of adult (read: laced with liquor) granita recipes for the magazine. I was more than happy to oblige.
I’m feel completely honored to be getting so much amazing press lately. In the last few weeks, I’ve been featured on Mashable.com and BlogHer.com.
Huge thanks to The Huffington Post for featuring my recipe for Maple Glazed Donut Holes in Donut Recipes: 13 Worth Lusting After.
They said, “What other flavor could you want to glaze your donuts with other than maple? These holes are light and fluffy, and add just the right amount of sweet.”
My blog was hijacked.
Not this one. The other one. My food blog, The Hungry Mouse.
A few months ago, Chinese hackers stole my domain name and were fraudulently operating my website for weeks.
I just got it back. It wasn’t easy, and I had help from a handful of folks you might not expect, including Senator John Kerry and the FBI.
So, what a whirlwind of a year!
I spent the last months furiously testing recipes, writing, editing, and shooting all the photography for my new cookbook, Slushed: More Than 150 Frozen, Boozy Treats for the Coolest Happy Hour Ever.
